…Well a snow storm is a slight exaggeration, but having prepared for rain, we really hadn’t expected snow. However, the many adventures we had creating the lighting for this event, will be saved for another day. By the time the guests arrived, the snow had stopped falling and the sight that awaited them made all of our effort worth it. Have a look at the video below to see the wedding lighting we used in this Arctic tundra (of Hampshire).

If you prefer photographs to video, this gallery shows the lighting spectacle we created at a wedding in December. This event is a good example of how we can create lighting displays in a variety of situations. If you’re organising an event and would like to know more, please get in touch.

December only seems like yesterday, as does this wedding party and the wave upon wave of snow which plummeted from the sky.

Setting the lighting within the marquee (see video below) was a challenge we happily took head on. Besides, that was the easy part – the outdoor lighting display would require snow boots and shovels!

We’ve just put together a video showing the finale of one of Tim’s firework displays. He had briefed us beforehand on what to expect, but we couldn’t zoom out enough to get all the action! The sky was dominated by fireworks – have a look for yourself. And get in touch if you would like to know more about the firework displays we can create.

Lawerence, the ORA Productions lighting supremo, has been adding sparkle to London’s Christmas lighting. Even with Bob Hoskins on hand to press the button, we all thought Lawrence was the real star of the show; with a spectacular demonstration of architectural lighting. This was also the first use of ORA’s new Avolites Pearl Desk AKA – the thingy that controls the  lighting effects.

As always if you would like to know more about our architectural lighting or the services we provide,  comment below or email us via the page above.

Frottage-rugby

Music and Rugby – we don’t know if they directly mix but when it comes to charitable causes we help when we can! And then after that ORA favourites Frottage will be playing in the clubhouse (9pm approx).

Reptiles_combined

ORA Production favourites The Reptiles will be playing at The Wellington Arms Hotel in Stratfield Turgis (on the A33). Tickets can be snapped up on the door for £5.00.

The Reptiles will make Nov 13th a night to remember, but don’t take our word for it -

“A truly fabulous weekend, I can’t thank you all enough. We have had nothing but compliments about The Reptiles…It really adds to the weekend that you all seem to enjoy it as much as we do”. Becky Mack, Swanage R.N.L.I.

“The Reptiles are one  of those rare bands that get everybody on the floor with their first song, and keep them there until the last of the many encores that these versatile musicians always enjoy”. Graham Thomas, Stone Gecko.
